On 9 January 2006, Mr Amnart Sirichai, chairman of the board of PAO had a chance to welcome Spanish diplomat group. He had taken the group to see the project, put them on a boat trip in the swamp, which was greeted with interest and appreciation from the group.

On 17 March 2006, PAO had a chance to welcome Mr James Jessamine, a tourism specialist from World Travel Organization coming to visit the swamp in order to find ways to endure Bung Borapet as a tourist place in long term. He had taken a boat trip around the swamp, and had met with different groups of people in Nakornsawan asking them to air their views for the place both current and the in the future.

On 19 March  2006, PAO had welcomed the group of Miss Thailand Universe 2006 during their preliminary round at the Pla Sua Tor Sanctuary. Part of this activity was to promote the place to the whole nation e.g. fresh water fish species, water lilies, birds, and the beautiful scenery around the swamp. The event had been taped and would be televised on Channel 7 at the final round of Miss Thailand Universe 2006.

On 31 October 2006, PAO had a chance to welcome the group of ministers and the entourage at Pla Sua Tor Sanctuary. PAO had organized a mobile cabinet meeting chaired by the then Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra on the 1 November 2006, and in the afternoon of 31 October 2006, the Prime Minister had been briefed of the problem on the project to develop the swamp before it was discussed in the mobile cabinet meeting the day after.
